Weapon Name: The Colossus Gauntlets
Weapon Description: A pair of giant gauntlets. They have a brass finish and are larger below the hands. The area below the hands are large circular plates, which rotate with the flick of the wrists. The area above the wrist on these rotating pieces, pop up, and allow for projectiles to be fired. The Gauntlets were built large to accommodate their creator. They are strapped into place and take much of the forearm up.
Firing is activated by a flick in the thumb and forefinger.
Origin: Vastile: The Colossus, developed this piece of gear to combat his peers on Elbaf island. The original edition was less reliable and only fired cannonballs. After leaving the island and begging his journey for knowledge and technology, Vastile found, bought, and stole the knowledge needed to upgrade the gauntlets to their current state.
Special Abilities: The Gauntlets change between 4 settings. The later 3 settings were added after leaving Elbaf and use technologies from many side of the globe.
Setting 1: Each gauntlet fires two cannon balls. This setting works much like an average cannon, but with added locking systems holding the shots in place.
Setting 2: Each gauntlet fires a single, normal sized, sleeping dart. This setting works by activating a series of built in Breath Dials, which push the darts out and towards the target.
Setting 3: Each gauntlet expels a jet of flames. This setting works by using a series of heat dials. The draw back being that after a while they will run out and will require refilling.
Setting 4: Each gauntlet shoots an electrified wire, which can be retracted. This setting works using a spring loaded mechanism, which propels the bolts out. These bolts are connected using a strong wire to the battery ring, which sits just below the Setting Rotatory.
